Literature Text

Forlorn life, I see it all. I watch you weep, I watch you fall.
'Don't lift your eyes' murmurs the voice, 'You have no choice, you have no choice'
Shattered heart, you pull away,  despaired to see another day.
You let the storm blacken your sight; afraid to drown, afraid to fight.
Whispered cry, you only live; nothing to seek, nothing to give.
Yet, as you crawl on through the rain, I feel your pain, I know your pain.
Shaking one I ache to hold, I want to pull you from the cold.
I made your heart so close to mine to make you grow, to make you shine.
Weary feet, don't run from me. From pain, one day, you'll be made free.
The world puts pressure on your mind, to hide from you what you might find.
Dearest child, in me you'll live. Turn to my arms. I will forgive.
Yeah, I really got nothing. I used to write poetry all the time but it's just too hard these days. This one came about at random one night.
I hope I put this in the right category.

1 John 1:3, "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God!"
Psalm 119:50 "My comfort in my suffering is this: Your promise preserves my life."
Psalm 27, "Though my father and mother forsake me, the Lord will receive me."

It's refreshing to see someone glorify God in their artwork. God bless!
